Senior Research Analyst

Candidates must participate & supervise junior research analysts in conducting market & technology research in upstream & downstream petrochemical industry. Conduct single client (proprietary) & Multi-client studies on high value added technology oriented petrochemical & plastic products on a global basis. Supervise 2-5 junior analysts.

Position requires a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science & Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry or related areas PLUS three(3) years of experience. Alternately, a PhD in one of the above areas is required. In addition, the position requires experience in technical writing and presentations gained through experience or course work.

Business Analyst/ Market Research Analyst

Candidates should possess an ability to understand and appreciate the non technical, business aspects of the chemical industry. Support Senior Analysts and Project Managers in market research for upstream & downstream petrochemicals industry for single client (proprietary) & Multi-client studies. Ideal candidate must have good technical skills, analytical skills and communication skills.

Position requires a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science & Engineering or related areas. Alternately, the candidate must possess a BS in one of the above areas PLUS an MBA or relevant experience in the chemical industry, planning, marketing or sales.

Project Manager

The project manager is responsible for the execution of the projects, managing the project team, and delivery of projects to the clients. Responsibilities include managing the day to day activities related to writing project proposals, Managing single-client and multi-client projects, Conducting and managing contract research projects , Writing reports and present findings to clients, Supervising and training junior level staff, contributing to company and external professional publications, interfacing with clients and Supporting the management team in the development of the organization.

Position requires an advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science & Engineering or related areas PLUS 3-5 years of relevant experience. Alternately, BS with 5+ years of work experience in the chemical industry planning, marketing or sales required. MBA preferred but not necessary.

Summer Interns

Chemical Market Resources, Inc. offers summer internships to select students enrolled full time in undergraduate chemical engineering or chemistry programs or graduate business programs.
